The not-so-minor details
Specialized Command Post BlackLite
- Price: 349.00
- Weight: 587gm
- Size Weighed:: 31.6mm
Aiming to take adjustable posts further than just gravity riders, Specialized trimmed weight out of their first version of the adjustable post, and are making it standard spec on a wide range of mountain bikes for 2014. Even their short travel bikes are either specced or have cable routing for an adjustable post – confirming where the big S sit (get it…) in the benefits of an adjustable post.
Their latest offering – the Command Post Blacklite has arrived at Flow HQ for testing, and priced at only $349 it is very appealing as an aftermarket option to a Rockshox, FOX, KS or Thompson.
The Command Post Blacklite has three height settings: 125mm, 100mm, and 75mm. We find this extra handy as finding the right height is tricky at times when you’re really moving on the trails.
Stay tuned for our testing impressions soon.
