    The Mtn Trails Hillbilly is a choose your own adventure endurance event 6,12 or 24hr, team or solo.

    You can race solo, in pairs or in a team. Transition, race village, parking, camping and showers are all in the one convenient area.

    The race format is simple you ride as many laps as you can within a 6/12/24 hour time period. Pairs and teams ride in a relay changing at the race village transition area.

    Hosted at the beautiful Kellevie race village, which under new ownership has lots of goodness in the pipeline. A setting where the event focus is on a fun and social atmosphere. Fun and challenging trails for you to have a blast with your mates.

    We have a pretty cool race village with entertainment, showers, food vendors, coffee, Jettech charge station. Campervan or pitched tent camping is welcome.

    If you don’t want to camp and you are travelling to the area there is lots of cool accommodation options in the area including budget and boutique.

  • Getting There

    From Hobart, cross the Tasman Bridge and follow the Tasman (A3) highway, past the Hobart Airport, for roughly 25 kilometres passing through Midway Point to reach the town of Sorell.
    Once in Sorell, drive through the town center until you reach
    the roundabout (or a little further down the road - a T intersection).
    Turn right here onto the Arthur (A9) highway. Follow the highway for around 20 kilometres until you reach the Kellevie turnoff.
    Turn left onto the Kellevie road.
    Follow this road for 4 kilometers where you keep left at the Y junction (with Bream Creek Rd). Continue along Kellevie Rd for about 300m till you reach a farm entrance on your left.
    Follow the farm road for about 1km till you reach the race village.
