Wild Horizons is excited to present a new concept in cycle racing. Rock&Road will see riders complete part of the course on a road bike, then swap to a MTB to bring it home. Or riders can create a team and race as a duo.
Road racing over a course of bitumen roads, plus single track and fire roads for the MTB, allows riders to you play to strengths and enjoy the best of both worlds.
The inaugural Rock&Road (R&R) will be held in and around the picturesque village of Rydal, west of the Blue Mountains and approximately 2-hours drive from Sydney.
Rydal offers the perfect combination of access to Lidsdale State Forest with great trails built by Central Tablelands MTB club for the ‘Rock’ section, and picturesque country roads stretching to Sodwalls, Tarana and beyond for the ‘Road’ section.
