Gravity Enduro is a fast growing format of racing and a great alternative for those riders looking for a bit of fun in a less serious environment than traditional MTB races. Appealing to all types or riders, including downhillers, cross-country and trail riders, Gravity Enduro tracks are less technical than traditional downhills but still provide the same adrenalin pumping challenges and great fun with your mates.
The SEQ MTB Series involves three race days where riders negotiate three to six competitive stages across a day each ranging from 2 to 15 minutes in length. Stages are generally downhill in nature with some short climbing sections and include non-competitive liaison stages, linking riders to the next track, which must be completed in a designated time limit. The overall winner is the rider with the fastest combined time across all competitive stages.
The three-round series will take place on the 7th of April, 19th of May and Round 3 to be confirmed. Round 1 and Round 3 will take place at Mount Joyce Recreation Park, Beaudesert-Boonah Road, Wyralong with the location for Round 3 also to be confirmed. The format of each round will remain a surprise until 24 hours prior to each event to keep things interesting and competition exciting. Liason stage routes will also be released at this time.
