Getting to Rotorua has never been easier, especially from Australia. Rotorua has two direct flights per week between Rotorua and Sydney which brings you straight into the city. If you plan well enough you can probably put your bike together at the airport and then bike into town!
Otherwise, there are daily flights in and out of Auckland. Rotorua is then a three hour drive from Auckland meaning all your travel can be done in one day - leaving more time for riding!
Getting to Rotorua domestically is straight forward, with daily flights direct from most major centres.
