This trail was built by Snozza (of Trailmix, FGP) for the original Kona 24hr in 2003, since then it’s become a favourite trail of this side of Melbourne.

It received a makeover when Snozza took the 24hr back to Redesdale in 2010. Post Black Saturday fires the trails now wind their way through the regrowth, twisting and turning. With most of the uphills located on the firetrails and most of the downhills all singletrack this 20km trail always leaves you with a smile. Due to the soil type this trail is arguably at its best after some rain or when every other trail in the area is too wet.

When you enter the park via Mt Lofty Road, you pass the Parks Victoria Mt Lofty Reserve signage, 50m on your right there is a road to your leading to a small dam. Take that road and park there.
To reach the trail, head away from your cars across the ‘wall’ of the dam. 150m along this trail, the singletrack is on your right.
