Victory Heights MTB Trails, is an initiative of local not for profit organisation Cooloola Trail Care Alliance Inc. to provide a safe passive trail area for Mountain Bike Riders, Walkers/Runners and Horse Riders.

Legal trail building began in 2012 after a management agreement was signed between Gympie Regional Council and Cooloola Trail Care Alliance Inc. allowing CTCAInc. to develop a trail net work in the initial 20ha of the agreement with a proposal of further planed development through to the northern section of Victory Heights on the north side of the Queensland Rail Corridor, (yet to be approved)

The Entry to Victory Heights network is perfectly located on Bath Terrace, being under 3 kilometres from the centre of Gympie and only 2 kilometres from the Gympie Rail Station. The area has ample parking across the road from The Victory Hotel which serves meals and has accommodation, while the Victory Store is also across the road and has food and fuel

When using the area please abide by the signage, follow the I.M.B.A/A trail guidelines, ride only open trail and don’t make new trail, be courteous to other trail users, Bike riders give way to Walkers/Runner and Horse riders, Walkers/Runners give way to Horse Riders

Walkers/Runners and Horse Riders please refrain from using Bike specific trails.
Bikes watch your speed on the fire roads, they are not highways

The network is being designed in a way to provide a safe area that can be enjoyed by all users, the MTB specific single trail are intended as a joined network to allow Novice to Advanced skilled riders a way of traversing the area with very little fire road riding, allowing a safe network of open Fire Roads for Beginner and Family bike riders, Walkers/Runners and Horse Riders to use.

Driving a Motor Vehicle or Moto Bike in the area is Prohibited.
