A high-profile field of racers is expected at this Sunday’s Rocky Trail 100 mountain bike endurance race at Stromlo Forest Park.

The race will run an almost 30km race circuit and challenges will be to race for 100 miles or 100 km, which has riders complete the challenging course five or three times, respectively.

Last year’s 100 mile winner Ed McDonald and his runner up Andrew Hall from Canberra will be challenged by no other than Jason English, the double 24H Solo World Champion from Port Macquarie.

The 100km field includes many national and internationally acclaimed Canberran mountain bikers including Shaun Lewis, Scott Chancellor, Jeremy Ross and Jason Chalker as well as interstate cross country aces like Crocodile Trophy finisher Mike Blewitt and U23 National team racer Kyle Ward.
