Chase the Dog is a non – competitive cycling event designed to have riders get out and enjoy Victoria’s beautiful Otways ranges.
The spectacular 85km course will take in some some of the best old logging routes of the Otways, a mixture of rail trail, fire road and quiet back country roads. This event can be on ridden on virtually any type of bike, whether it be a mountain bike, cyclocross, hybrid or commuter.
Most people have been touched at some stage of their lives by Depression, Anxiety and other forms of mental illness.
Chase the Dog will provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals and groups of friends to have a great day out on the bike, exploring a beautiful area, in addition to raising funds and awareness for mental health and Beyondblue.

Nothing is tricky in Forrest... everything is well sign posted and mapped.
There are no secrets, so just come into town, park your car, pickup a trail map and start riding.
All trails start from town and are a very short ride to the two main trail heads.
To get to Forrest itself, just follow the Princes Hwy towards Colac and the take the signs to Apollo Bay and Forrest.
Approximately 2 hours west of Melbourne.
