6 Hour Enduro
MTB Wagga’s big event for the year.
With the cancelation of our 2012 event due to the floods in March, the crew is itching to get our flagship event going again.
With a move of date to September, our 2013 event should be a cracker.
Held at our local Pomingalarna Reserve, “Pomi” is renowned for its 13km race loop of fast flowing single track.
Format is typical of a 6 hour enduro for solo or teams (2 & 3), but with the slight change that laps have to be finished inside the 6 hour window…Sounds boring???…Let’s see what happens when you think you have just enough time for one more lap !!!
Pomi Reserve has a terrific flat area at the trail head that makes for a terrific parking, transition and camping area. (Camping available night before event). Spectators also get a great view of riders coming in and out of transition and can easily move to great photo opportunity on the “downhill” part of the track.
Pomi Reserve is located on the edge of town with short drive along Sturt Highway to town anemities.
MTB Wagga prides itself on providing an event that sees a great mix of serious competitors, through to weekend warriors and first timers to the race scene. With many people making the journey from Canberra, Albury, Beechworth, Sydney and central NSW…More details coming in 2013…
Our website has a terrific map of the tracks
