Wombat State Forest

The Wombat 100 is a cross country MTB marathon staged in the Wombat State Forest on the outskirts of Woodend, VIC. The 12th April 2015 will see the 7th installment of this popular event, regarded as one of Victoria’s premier XCM events.
Participants can expect a world class marathon course that includes over 50% flowing, groomed single track (including the famous Wombat track), fast fire trail, pine forest single track and 4WD trails. Our promise of 100% dirt continues!
Course options include 100km, 75km, 50km and 25k making the Wombat an achievable MTB endurance event for everyone from elite riders all the way to beginner level. The newly launched 25km course includes a loop of the famous wombat track and also serves as the junior race for riders under the age of 16 – a perfect introduction to MTB racing!

Coming from Melbourne along the Calder Freeway (M79), turn off the Freeway at the Woodend exit (C792 – Black Forest Drive)
