Once installed, the toolkit within the housing remains firmly in place, with no notable rattling or noises on the trail. To access the toolkit the top-cap rotates 180°, and the tools pop-out thanks to a small spring at the base of the housing.

Each of the 1/4″ hex bits are held within the holster via magnets quite firmly, however will eject into a jumbled mess if you drop the assembly. The ratchet itself is nicely made with 50 points of engagement, and is 100mm in length allowing for a reasonable amount of torque to be applied to the bolts if required.

The top-cap of the Stash RT is replaceable with the brand’s Scope Computer Mounts purchased separately from the toolkit, and is compatible with Wahoo, Garmin and Bryton computers.
