Without a doubt, Nino Schurter belongs among the most successful mountain bike athletes in history. Follow Nino from his youth as a child in a remote Swiss mountain village to his greatest victory at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The Olympic and 6x World Champion is the leader of SCOTT- SRAM MTB Racing, which has been for many years the No.1 international XC team run by bike legend Thomas Frischknecht.

“N1NO Schurter – A Mountain Biker’s Hunt for Glory” is an impressive documentary about the Mountain Bike Gold Medalist of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. It presents the 31-year-old Swiss from various angles and from those who surround him. The documentary illustrates Nino from his youth as a little kid in a remote Swiss mountain village to his greatest victory, at the Olympic Games in Rio. But his MTB career is only one aspect in this 26-minute biography. Composed by multiple award-winning outdoor action cinematographer Christophe Margot, A Mountain Biker’s Hunt for Glory shows Nino Schurter as a sensitive family man, but also as a highly committed and ultra-focused person, meticulously working on achieving his goals.
