“They don’t call Canberra the Bush Capital for nothing…this accident occurred on Adelaide Avenue just off Capital Circle…I escaped relatively unscathed with no broken bones but a severely grazed and bruised elbow, grazed hip and 8 stitches in my knee…while the ‘roo did hop away, it jumped over the railing on Adelaide Ave down to State Circle where it was subsequently hit by a car and killed…four cars with five people stopped within seconds to offer much appreciated assistance…they introduced themselves to me at the time but I can’t remember their names to thank them personally…”
