The Otways township of Forrest is the perfect place to visit for more than 2 days of riding super flowing fun trails.
Unlike most MTB destinations Forrest offers a true “ride in ride out” mountain bike experience. Not only will you find plentiful accommodation but also somewhere for Breakfast, lunch and dinner… as well as a bike shop and cafe, that offers Bike Hire on top of awesome coffee.
The Forrest Micro Brewery has become an iconic place to end your ride over an ale or 5.

The trail network is best described as flowing singletrack… and 60+ks of it.

Nothing is tricky in Forrest… everything is well sign posted and mapped.

There are no secrets, so just come into town, park your car, pickup a trail map and start riding.
All trails start from town and are a very short ride to the two main trail heads.

To get to Forrest itself, just follow the Princes Hwy towards Colac and the take the signs to Apollo Bay and Forrest.
Approximately 2 hours west of Melbourne.
