Finish Line have been in the bicycle lubricants business now for over 26 years. They pioneered the concept of Teflon based 'dry' lubes which completely changed the way riders maintained their bikes. Derek Goltz, Finish Line's marketing man, swung by Flow HQ for a chat last week, fresh off the plane from icy New York where the company is based.

Before the jet lag kicked in, we asked him a few questions about some of Finish Line’s newest products, what that crap that comes on a new chain really is, what ceramic lubes are all about and almost got him to ‘fess up what he knows about the arrival of electronic shifting for mountain bikes.
