Up top Dan is wearing the latest Reflex mountain bike jacket from Kenny Racing. It’s a lightweight outer shell that’s designed to keep the cold wind away from your chest and arms, while also providing some light water resistance too. Perfect for splashing through all the puddles on the trail then!
You’ll find laser-cut vents underneath the armpits to reduce sweat build up, and a full-length zipper makes it easy to introduce cool air while riding. While it is quite a light and minimalist jacket, the Reflex does give you two zippered hand pockets, and two pockets on the inside for stowing valuables on your ride. It only comes in black and it’s available in four sizes from Small through to X-Large.
Kenny Racing Reflex Mountain Bike Pants

As with the jacket, the Kenny Reflex MTB pants are designed to offer protection against the wind and splashy puddles. They’re actually quite lightweight and breathable however, and we like how the legs taper right down at the ankles with an elasticated cuff that keeps the fabric away from your bike’s drivetrain. The knees are also articulated to provide freedom of movement when pedalling in the saddle.
There’s a single zippered pocket on the lower right thigh, while a nylon buckle cinches down the elasticated waist. Available in sizes from 28 to 36, and like the Reflex jacket, only in black.
